Midwest Carriers Receives a Special VNL 860
Earlier this month Eric, President of Midwest Carriers, gave this fully loaded Volvo VNL 860 to his dad Dave, as a gift for his 65th birthday.
Dave, the owner of Midwest Carriers, helps his son Eric when they have urgent or special loads and would take whatever truck was sitting empty at the time. Eric, wanted to give his dad a truck of his own, and the VNL 860 is what Dave wanted.
While Dave spec’d the truck the way he wanted, Eric added a few features like Volvo Dynamic Steering and the Infotainment Center to make time on the road a little easier for his dad.
Midwest Carriers is celebrating 35 years in business. Dave started with one truck and then a few more and operated out of a small construction trailer. Today they operate an award winning business with 135 units. They recently earned a Smartway High Performer designation, which puts them in the top 10% of Smartway fleets in the country. The company prides itself on relationships with its customers, drivers, and vendors, so Dennis Schill and everyone at Kriete Truck Center – Green Bay is grateful to be a valued vendor of Midwest Carriers.
